CARY, NC | Brianna Viets and Sasha Korjova won the 2023 1A Doubles State Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Mount Airy’s Carrie Marion and Ella Brant. The match was played on center court inside of Cary Tennis Park.

Brianna and Sasha dropped just four games during their championship run this weekend, giving TMSA its first women’s individual championship in women's tennis in the process.

Note: Brianna and Sasha are the first individual state champions in any sport at TMSA!
